Q - Are there different membership levels?
A - Yes, we offer standard, gold, and platinum membership levels. Each comes with its own set of benefits and discounts.
Q - How are my membership dues spent?

Q - Do I have to pay monthly membership dues?
A - Monthly membership dues are required only for the Gold plan. Our Platinum plan is paid yearly and offers the best value. Platinum is the way to go.
Q - How do I upgrade from gold membership to platinum membership. What should I do?
A - Go to the CARE website and fill out the contact form. Someone will contact you and guide you through the upgrade process.
Q - Do I have to pay more for my membership if I have more than one child using self-directed services?
A - No, your membership fee remains the same for up to two children using self-directed services.

Q - Does CARE provide legal services?
A - No, CARE is not a law firm. However, we have relationships with consultants, attorneys and subject matter experts who provide services regarding issues that our members are passionate about.
Q - What does the review of my yearly PCP include?
A - The review of your yearly PCP includes an assessment of compliance, identification of risk areas, and recommendations for necessary updates.
Q - What is the hourly rate for legal services in the state of Maryland?
A - The hourly rate for legal representation in Maryland can be $500 per hour or more. However, if you are a platinum member, representation through our consultant would be $200 per hour, and Gold members would be $250. Standard members will receive a 25% discount on representation. We can provide this benefit because of our relationship with legal consultants and attorneys who support our cause.
Q - If I am a member and need representation, how do I start the process?
A - Any member can go to the CARE website and contact us. Our Response Team will contact a qualified attorney or advocate from the CARE network for a free initial consultation.

Events
Q - Are there any fees for the events?
A - If you are a platinum member or gold member, there is no charge for events. However, if you are a standard member, you will receive an invite to our events at a minimal cost.
